THE HURRICANE YEARS

Under the wrinkleproof executive suiting, the corporation coronary. Auscultated at some length but with pro proficiency by Mr. Hawley whose other earlier books of the '50's (Cash McCall, etc.) have been roughly and/or smoothly like it. . . . Coming to in a county hospital is Judd Wilder, fortyish, Director of Advertising of Crouch Carpet Company, refusing at first to accept the fact that he's had a heart attack or the further revelations of internist Dr. Kharr who has made extensive studies of cardiac behavior patterns. Judd's been in overdrive for years. . . ""going around in circles. . . spinning up a hurricane."" Along with retrospective fill-ins and fillers on Judd's career, his relationship with his a wife Kay (now in Europe), their relationship with their son. etc. this ends with Judd's patching up a lot more than his myocardial infarct. . . . Without any auricular powers, you can guess this will do pretty well.
