AMERICAN WINGS

A book for boys rather than adults. Comprehensive survey of flying in this country, touching, superficially, on most aspects of it:- military and naval flying, training, types of planes, variety of uses, etc.; coastguard planes; mail planes; commercial flying; lighter than air craft; agricultural uses; photography, and so on. The emphasis is laid on the military and naval aspects, with too casual a dismissal of the commercial slants. Little human interest material. Contributes nothing new.
