This is a book particularly suitable for young people and leaders of young people. As the title suggests, it deals with the crises of life, from birth to death, including the choice of one's loyalties, the selection of a vocation, marriage, success, failure, sickness, war, peace. It could be a splendid guide in a series of discussions with young people and very helpful to parents. Clergymen, too, will find good illustrative material in this volume. The religious emphases in the book, and they are considerable, are Protestant in character. The author is the pastor of Mount Vernon Church in Boston.
