Young Eagle Feather and his friend, White Hawk, were part of the Cheyenne warrior party sent out to destroy the dragon steamboat. But a Pawnee attack and unexpected reverses drove Eagle Feather into the dread boat himself, and there he became brother to a white man and hero to his tribe. Good black and white chapter headings.
