OLD MAN RABBIT'S DINNER PARTY

Robinson pictures in full color for a gift edition of a favorite story. Old Man Rabbit, with plenty of food for himself, is a tender hearted soul and sorry for the misfortunes of his less provident woodsy neighbors. So he invites them all to share his bounty, and his happiness is his reward. Though the moral is apparent, the tale somehow seems a fresh approach to a familiar pattern. There's a briskness in the telling and an appealing portrayal of small things going about the business of life, that gives it vitality. Same format as Scat, Scat and The Little Engine that Could.
