UNCERTAIN APRIL

Oh so nice and oh so sentimental story of a demure and dowdy little librarian of a small town who wins a contest and some prize money and does a right about face. With New York clothes and her face and hair done over, she returns to Colford to join in all the community doings, to play a bit of library politics so as to fill the post as she wills it -- and at the close gets a proposal of marriage herself. Rentals -- and branch library, light romance.
