THE GUN COLLECTORS HANDBOOK OF VALUES

This is the first revised edition of a book that over 12000 enthusiasts have placed orders for by mail in advance of publication! (Since the original privately printed edition went out of print). That in itself is indication of the scope of the potential market; this in spite of there being some 2000 books on firearms. The revised edition has more comprehensive and up to date text describing 2000 American and foreign firearms, ancient, semimodern and modern, selected for popularity with collectors. 500 illustrations plus descriptions ample enough for identification for the other items add to the immediate value. A chapter on methods of appraising the condition of the firearms, cautions on values, suggestions on how to make the hobby pay, brief biographical notes on personalities in the field, listings of sources of supply, all contribute to making this the book in the field.
