His book is an informal explanation of how and why a normal drinker becomes a problem drinker, and how he may be returned to his family, social and business life without hospital or institutional confinement. Case histories lend a varied and illuminating touch, and the attitude, which is cheerful and hopeful, lends an encouraging incentive for those involved in this problem.
