BETTER BRIDGE FOR BETTER PLAYERS

The day of virtually monthly turnabouts on ""systems"" has passed, praises be, and here is a commonsense approach to the whole picture of bid and play, using the accepted parts of the accepted systems, and giving adequate space to such conventions as Blackwood and the Culbertson Four No Trump. One of the best features of the book is the inclusion of quizzes at the ends of most of the chapters, problems testing the points previously made, hands to play out, and the answers. Not a book for the beginner. But an excellent ""refresher course"" for those who have gone stale.
