A TEACHER IS A PERSON

An entertaining, partly personal and partly professional discussion of teaching today also makes a reassuring rebuttal of the more ""colorful critics""- Lynd, Flesch, etc.- who have come to their conclusions on the basis of little experience. A teacher for 20 years, Mr. Wilson does not think children are learning less but points to the increasing lack of teachers and numbers of pupils as the most serious of problems. A likeable and reasonable examination and evaluation.
