JOHN, THE UNIVERSAL GOSPEL

The author's avowed aim is ""to put before non-technical readers a well-rounded discussion of the main facts, findings and truths concerning the Fourth Gospel, as set forth by present-day scholarship."" This aim he has accomplished, for he has given us a popular, accurate and readable account of John, the Universal Gospel. The book gives us the setting against which the Gospel was written, and its essential purpose, and then outlines the more important elements in the gospel message as delivered by John. Clergymen and other Bible students prepared to accept the findings of Biblical scholarship will find this an illuminating and helpful book.
