THIS SIMIAN WORLD

A new edition of the book that -- for fifteen years -- has kept Clarence Days's reputation green in the hearts and minds of all who read and enjoyed its brilliant satire on the foibles of the human race. I'd heard about it for years always intended to beg, borrow or steal (I really thought it was out of print!) a copy -- but never got around to it. Now, with the Book-of-the-Month Club distribution, the book has a chance to reach (1) the tremendous and constantly widening market created by Life With Father; (2) people like myself who knew about it but did nothing about it. A chance for a big plus sale -- display with the other titles, play up newspaper publicity -- call to attention of customers as a book that has been -- and will again be -- discussed. Not in the least like Life With Father, except in the keen insight evinced. Biting satire, with enough gentle spoofing to take the sting out.
