THE MORTAL IMMORTALS

In the nation of Cordelion, eery miles away from Falaha, Catona (the names are all like this) where Killy Legrange is first discovered, spectral malcontents from the ousted royal clans of Macaleen and Cocheillon wait for a living pretender to show. And Macaleen-descended Killy, whose limbs turn into ""a flaccid mass"" in the haunted Macaleen castle, does make it to the throne after being prompted by a company of living and dead clansmen and, as preordained, she marries her Cocheillon. All in gibbering, creaking prose.
