This is a revised edition of Dr. Goodrich's Natural Childbirth (which was then followed by Maternity- 1959). The change in title now is to avoid the ""semantic reaction"" to the phrase Grantly Dick-Read coined and (h'mmm) propagated, which then was submitted to many adaptations such as educated childbirth, etc. and which Dr. Goodrich now calls ""psychophysical techniques."" They have been included in this updated version even though most of the book is beginning stuff on life beginning.
