TAKE-OFF

Michael Novak is triply confounded when his new job as ceramics engineer on the Prototype, a mockup of an air rocket ship brings murder in its wake. When the local Atomic Energy Commission clamps down on his suspicions -- of his employers and the purpose of the ship -- he sleuths alone and comes up with several new answers which rate him a girl and national importance. Some fancy technicalities and hotspot melodrama for science fiction premised on ethics and loyalty.
