TOWARD INFINITY

An excellent collection that includes Theodore Sturgeon's sensitive tale of an astronaut who is the first to land on Mars and who dreams while dying of The Man Who Lost the Sea; a wry burlesque by Ray Bradbury whose men do reach Mars intact only to be devastatingly ignored by the locals; a beautifully responsive and touching story of a boy who is forced to hide his enormous intelligence by Wilmar H. Shiras; a short shocker by Isaac Asimov; a ribald and very funny piece about a space captain who finds himself a custodian of three little witches by James H. Schmitz and a Resurrection that turns into a doomsday for some up-tight aliens when they revive the wrong Man. And for the gloomy gothic set there's as horrific a story as ever came down from the Arctic wastes in Don A. Stuart's Who Goes There. Real variations on imaginative angles. . . . kids may have trouble keeping it from their over-thirty friends.
