THE ORGANIZATION

Stanley Bass, a professional gambler with a certain ethic, is conned by a young woman called Brandy who tums out to be a rotgut aperitif. She's capable of all kinds of role-playing and responsible for a motel murder and the theft of a great deal of money. This takes place around San Francisco and Las Vegas and is expensively plotted and cheaply written unless, like Bass, you're easily ""scalded with the nectar from a severed artery of love"" -- obviously something to be avoided.
