Originally scheduled for June '87 publication by Macmillan, the release of this investigation into the founding family of the Louisville Courier-Journal was postponed, then cancelled in July, by Macmillan, Now Crown is offering what is, according to their editor in chief, "". . .substantially the same book, [although] facts have been verified and some editorial changes made."" A fascinating preface by David Chandler explaining his interpretation of Macmillan's cancellation (legal pressure brought by the Bingham patriarch) also is new.
