FIGHTING DAN OF THE LONG RIFLES

This is a long fictionalized biography of that great fighter, the ""Swamp Fox"". It starts with the hero in his late teens in Winchester, from which town he went out as a wagoner. This is a good job but be sure to check it against Mount and Ride by Elizabeth on Penn's list and his own Knight of the Revolution that came out last year. You may need them all, at any rate this one covers the most ground.
