AMERICA'S BABY BOOK

Prepared under the auspices of the Herald Tribune Bome Institute, this latest manual for new mothers is keyed to current attitudes in child care and aimed at the average household. Through the phases of pregnancy, hospitalization, and home with the new baby, this covers chronologically the stages of development, feeding, training, clothes, equipment, play habits up to the six year old level. Not a substitute for the Spock book (the age span is limited to the very young child and there is no medical information) this is particularly useful in its inclusion of home management information, the proper play materials, foods and how to prepare them, and the realignment of the routine which a baby necessitates.
