BEAT BACK THE TIDE

Francesca Warne returns to the scene of her husband's death on a California beach as a nurse for the son of a widower, Glazer, whose rather hostile discomfort in her presence cedes to attraction- and the desire to find her husband's killer. Glazer's interest and inquiry in the case prompt a repetition of the old crime, but he is able to delete not only the memory of a shameless love but also the guilty fear which has been riding her. Nonstop rather than nonplus entertainment.
