ARCHER PILGRIM

teutious, a simple account of love of the soil and farming, winning out over all other urges. A story of ambition unfulfilled, as Archer, knowing deeply that he wants to be a farmer, is swerved from his path by his parents and the girl he loves. Engineering proves a blind alley -- he meets some success in business -- but at the end, he counts love and all else well lost, and goes back to the farm.
