BIG STORE

Brash, bumptious but bright, Chuck, fresh -- very fresh --from a Nebraskan college, is determined to set New York's department store world on its ear. This is the story of his first year, as he talks himself into bigger jobs than he can handle, and eventually finds himself at the bottom of the heap in the training squad of his dream store. He learns not to grab, not to overshoot, how to take routine. And he wins the love of Helen, though I wouldn't know why. Assets? Largely vocational.
