This was a labor of love on the part of the author, who had planned the book for her grandchildren with the thought in mind to place in their hands in a compact and ordered form the messages of the Bible that meant most to her. The book consists of from Scripture arranged under such headings as God, Wisdom from Ancient Days, the Birth of Christ, the Miracles, Truths to Live By, A Guide for Family Living, Eternal Life, the , and so on. Brief interpretative paragraphs are interspersed, but in the main the selections carry their own message. One can be grateful Mrs. Kopplin decided to share this with others.
