FLY WITH ME TO INDIA

The foreign mission study topic for all the Protestant churches during 1954-55 is ""India, Pakistan and Ceylon"". No group will study those countries and the missionary opportunities there more assiduously than the woman of the Methodist Church. They have a marvalous organisations which reaches down into every local Methodist church. The Methodists will see to it that their women secure the study books and use then. More than that, they are supplementing the material prepared interdenominationally with books and pamphlets telling what their own denomination is doing. Dorothy Clarke Wilson was sent to India to gather material for the story of what the Methodists are doing in that country. This she has done in the form of a diary of her trip with each day's entry telling of the personalities she encountered, the institutions visited and the impressions received. It is a missionary travelogue. You may be sure that thousands of Methodist women will fly with the author to India. But others are apt to stay on the ground, for this is strictly a denominational presentation.
