A supplement to her first book, Here's To Canada, and the perfect (or almost perfect) book on Nova Scotis. Appropriately enough in this year of no motoring she has not made it a book for travelers (though in years to come it should still be the book for travelers). Rather is it an adroit blend of autobiography, personal experience, history, biography, armchair travel -- and an inspirational guide, and it throws a light on the place and the people, the reasons they are as they are, and the roots of their history and traditions and customs. One aspect is neglected, which will be missed by sportsmen -- the inland lakes and woods and streams which make Nova Scotis a paradise for salmon and trout fishermen. Except for that, the book has everything.
