A MAN'S WORLD

A story that may hit the market of The Catcher in the Rye takes young George Fox through a revealing summer in Cannes where he has come as mess boy aboard a private yacht. It is in trying to rescue an orphaned French girl from her bondage that George plays St. George against a dragon of an aunt. His forced growth into maturity crumples before its inadequacy but, framed in a motley of incidents and personalities, it may have its influence in the realm of being a real boy.
