YOUTH IN DANGER
by ‧RELEASE DATE: April 19, 1956
Hendrickson served on the Senate subcommittee which made a study of teen-age transgressions and this book is based on its findings, compiled in cities the country over. By no means a hopeless indictment, it nevertheless shows a doubling of delinquency since 1940, along with the causes for it- liquor, the stigma of the gang, horror comics, working mothers, etc. While the handling is not lively these facts speak for themselves and give cause for alarm and action.
