THE TRUE BOOK OF FREEDOM AND OUR U.S. FAMILY

With the nature world as a point of reference this illustrates, in idealized form, the needs and principles of the large family Dr. Witty conceives as the United States. How we work to protect ourselves from enemies, provide food, etc., lies parallel to the ideals of freedom and brotherhood by which we live. But there are the half truths, such as the failure to mention that the 13 colonies met to oppose British tyranny as well as to establish a union, facts youngsters will have to realize and reappraise later on.
