RIM-ROCKED!

Uranium ore is fast taking the place of pirate doubloons in mystery adventures and this brisk, good-natured, western yarn couples treasure hunt excitement with likeable characterization. Brothers Dave and Stuart reluctantly include irascible Ned on their trip to Wyoming to aid old prospector, ""Rocks"" McGinty, to keep his run-down ranch, and find themselves not only burdened with Ned's laconic sulkiness but with managing a debt-ridden ranch. However, Ned begins to see the light and the three boys team up and, in the process of securing money to pay the mortgage, rescue a mysterious ""prospector"" who was rim-rocked and near death, uncover skullduggery aimed to relieve ""Rocks"" of his land, and conduct a race for a uranium claim on the property for the grand finale. Entertaining contemporary western adventure.
