EVERMAY RANCH

This is probably an authentic enough picture of Montana ranch life, but it is artificial in plot structure, sentimental and amateurish. The story of an unwanted orphan who finds parents and brothers and a perfect home when she is sent out to a distant cousin's ranch, because all the closer relatives have good reasons for not wanting her. There is plenty of incident in her first year of ranching, and she comes off with flying colors at every test of character.
