GAMES OF MANY NATIONS

Alphabetical arrangement by country, simple explanations and the occasional inclusion of music and native words to songs, characterize a good collection that covers global play from Africa to Uruguay. There are four or five games from each of the 28 peoples. Many of them are familiar- blind man's buff, hide and seek, etc. These are among the not so familiar- Blind Hen from Peru, San Pedro y San Pablo from the Philippines; but there are always cross references to similar games from other countries to establish the international connections. A fine handbook for schools, parties and get-togethers with international focus.
