CYNTHIA

This woolly adventure (Cunningham, in his earlier ones, took the genre more seriously) deals with Harvey Krim's attempt to Fred Cynthia Brandon, worth one million if kidnapped, two if dead, to his insurance company. This proceeds from her Computer Dating to a Be-In in Central Park to Toronto and back to an attempt to lift a Rembrandt from the Met. A preposterous plot, but you'll like Harvey he's just the right shade of brash.
