COMPLETE SCIENCE COURSE FOR YOUNG EXPERIMENTERS

Another book of closed-end recipes which should bore young experimenters. The selection covers the universe but doesn't compare in interest to one depth-study like Rocks and Rills (below). Further, the hodge-podge of topics are placed illogically in equivalent positions (Biology, Chemistry, Electricity), there is no cumulative learning, and the quality of the instructions varies from one section to the next. Each section originally appeared as a single book (by a different author); this whole is even less than the sum of its parts. There are many similar books available and not a few are considerably better.
