EL AIRON DE LOS TORRE-CUMBRE (The Escutcheon of the Torru-Cumbre Family)

As gay as a red balloon this light novel would be promptly deflated by translation. A rich young man joins a genealogical society that in seven Boccaccian reports reveals the infidelities of his ancestresses. Hoping to escape the family fate he marries a convent maiden, and finds himself the eighth deceived husband of the line. Deftly written with satirical intentions but it's more fun taken straight. Not for Aunt Minnie and the children.
