FIRST LADY OF THE SEEING EYE

...was Buddy, a German shepherd guide dog and not the famous Mrs. Eustis. Buddy's work with Morris Frank was the beginning of what the Seeing Eye organization has accomplished. Blinded by an accident, Frank went to Switzerland and in time saw the opening of the first American training school in his home town, Nashville, Tenn. Through the years the combined efforts of the dogs, their charges and the trainers, and in particular the remarkable Buddy, are given full billing in this lively, loving tribute.
