PETERKIN

The animated cartoon, Scrambled Eggs, was the basis for this story of the mischievous faun who paid back the birds by mixing their eggs, with dire results. Nonsense and an original story, but conservatives who aren't enthusiasts for the animated cartoon technique won't like the rhapsodized birds and nests, though everyone will appreciate the beautiful coloring and the fine reproduction of the 16 full-page illustrations in full color and the amusing blacks and whites. This is the first of a series about Peterkin's adventures. Picture book format, bound in boards.
