READ REVIEW

THE P-ZOO

A delightful and original story of an erratic animal lover who housed only these creatures whose names begin with P. needed a helper but even there he applied the P rule. A gay end is provided when Peter Paul, a Person, and Patricia, a Pacderm, gain entrance. A very different sort of story picture book, with Peter Hurd's drawings and Plavia ag's hand lettering. A nice book on all counts. Beginning readers will like to spell it out and there's a word game angle. And younger children will like the read aloud. Colored jacket and paper on board binding; drawings in blue line.
