THESE TWO WERE HERE

Two small, slight essays which are not only a gesture of friendship but are to serve as ""a little beam of light to throw across the darkness of our world today and tomorrow"". These two sketches are of Louise Homer, whom the author knew since her school days, and of Willa Cather who came to Pittsburgh after her college years and whom she was to know there for nine years, and later in New York and abroad. There's really very little here to warrant book publication, but there may be some local or special interest.
