The killing of a second intruder by agent Baines raises more questions than it answers, but, eventually, Eleanor Roosevelt's sharp memory and gentle probing put the investigation on track and help prevent a last-minute assassination. Neatly plotted, convincing and workmanlike--a huge improvement over the author's previous Murder at Hobcaw Barony.
