THE ELEVENTH COMMANDMENT

Here's a bible for the nationalists, the isolationists, the See America First and the Buy American groups. In realistic, matter-of-fact manner, logically step by step, the author sets out to prove that internationalism is an empty phrase, today, and that minding our own business is our first and last duty. He turns the spotlight on the results of our intervention of twenty years ago -- he discusses the pros and cons and the elusions of foreign trade -- he examines matters of costs and credits -- and he concludes that we should stay at home and put our own house in order. He does it all very facilely, in somewhat colloquial style.
