COME TO DUST

That most excellent John Putnam Thatcher of the doughty Sloan Guarantee Trust finds both Wall Street and a campus upset by the disappearance of fund raiser Elliot Patterson. Did Elliot heist a $50,000 bond? Could the pious Patterson have hit-and-run over two high school students? And most impossible, could this uprighteous family man have played the peek-a-boo-boo pervert? Why did he supposedly run off with the Brunswick College admissions scores and who stuck the knife into that snide little student? Another teaser-pleaser by a very good performer.
