CHINA'S STORY

A well-written informative story of China, its history and its present role in the war -- successful compression into concise form. Much of the Chinese temperament is explained by the author's delving into the past and giving us the history of its wars, the steady working of forces from without, in trade and in attempts to implant Western ideas. It is a short book, but gives a fair picture, telling of the start of the Kuomintang government, the role of the Communist, the work that is going on among the Industrial Cooperatives in education and teaching of trades. Recommended for High School and Junior High School.
