ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Older than most of this author's books this is a top-notch biography of one of the greatest men that ever lived. Very readable it would be excellent to try aloud because it would give the adult such pleasure. The book starts with Abe at the age of seven and ends with that tragic night at the theatre and includes many anecdotes which we had never known or had forgotten. Most interesting to us were the descriptions of the President seeing anybody who asked for an interview and personally dealing with hundreds of small problems.
