Peter, Paul, and Mary -- sorry about that -- Perry, Paul and Della are back again in the case of a country mouse who turned into a city kitten and had some trouble with a forged check and a married man (later deceased) who left more solid assets (a boat for one) and possibilities (still another girl) behind. The publishers who habeas a continuing corpus with the late Mr. Gardner state that this one comes without the benefit of his usual ""polishing"" and you wonder if old chestnuts like ""out of the fire"" would have been left. Still the crisscrossed story is ail right for those that did and always will.
