SIXES AND SEVENS

Gail Farnsworth, a high school senior in a New England town, is indeed at sixes and sevens when she becomes so involved with school idol, Tex Sawyer, that her marks take a dangerous descent. Her father, a university professor, sharply curtails her social schedule so that she will not jeopardize her chances of getting into college, and Gail watches mournfully as Ted turns to other girls for companionship. Gail's purgatory teaches her more than the curricular subjects as she sees Ted's frivolity for what it is and switches her allegiance to a more serious beau. A sensible story which centers around a likeable heroine and a lesson many teen-agers would do well to learn.
