CALICO

There seem to be a goodly number of excellent pony stories this season and here is another, also a good one. Calico is shipped from a Western ranch to a Vermont pony farm, and there shares the adventures of two children, a country-bred small girl and a city-bred small boy. The Maginel Wright Barney illustrations are an added factor giving charm to a good yarn.
