JINKS OF JAYSON VALLEY

A routine dog story about two collies and two owners -- one a Cinderella orphan. When Mr. Corbin fell ill, he sent his beautiful collie, Jinks, who was about to produce a litter, to his daughter by plane. The plane crash-landed with a bewildered dog near the sheep ranch of Hugh's uncle. Hugh, an orphan, ill treated by uncle and an over-bearing cousin, befriends the dog and manages to save one puppy before Jinks is shot as a sheep killer by the uncle. After some narrow escapes for Hugh and Jinks II, Hugh is able to prove that the collie is not a sheep killer and is allowed to keep and work the dog. When Mr. Corbin is able to trace his dog, Hugh refuses to part with Jinks but all ends happily when both Jinks and Hugh are adopted by Mr. Corbin's daughter.
