AMATEURS IN ARMS

In fiction form, an exposÉ of unlawful proceedings in munition deals, for the Spanish Civil War. A Dane, unsuccessful salesman, teams up with a Hungarian, becomes right-hand man for the son of a German armament maker, opposed to his father's Franco allegiance. They manage to achieve their aim and block the shipments. Story not important except as a disclosure of the various rackets in the trade. Sensational material, presented as fact.
