ONE BURNER COOKERY

Not a book for the tired toiler at day's end, with limited budget and sizeable appetite. On the whole the recipes are unsubstantial, designed for specialty suppers, pick-up meals, snacks, etc. There are your dainty dishes, with fancy sauces -- entrees rather than basic food. No soups, vegetables, desserts. Epicurean but enticing.
